Register 1: saint James the Lesser with a fuller's club.
Register 2: saint John the Evangelist with the poisoned cup.
Register 3: saint Paul holding a sword.
Border of dentils.

Koechlin 1924: French, 1st thirst of the 14th century.
Stafski 1965: Northern France, 1st third of the 14th century.

Unknown

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on either side (repaired).

Polychromy - Gilding
No traces of polychromy.

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
This wing was formerly in three pieces which have been glued back together.
Ivory repairs where the hinges were.

Comments
This panel was probably originally the right inner wing of a tabernacle closing over a representation of the Virgin and Child.

Acquired before 1856 by the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, Nuremberg.
