Standing Virgin and Child (Vierge glorieuse); two angels holding candlesticks; angel crowning the Virgin.
Trefoils with protruding cones in the spandrels.

Museum's opinion 2014: French, 2nd half of the 14th century.

Polychromy - Gilding
Extensive traces of gilding and polychromy: gold (hems, hair, crown), red (architecture, Virgin's cloak) and blue (hems).

Reverse
Flat and smooth.
Handwritten ink inscription: '544 GSp(?)'.
Handwritten pencil inscription: '16629 Nr. 35'.
Pink label with the inscription: '51 Legat J. Wieser'.

Object Condition
Part of the upper right border is chipped.

Provenance
Collection of Johann von Wieser: his bequest to the museum in 1886.
