Side 1: Herod holding a sceptre.
Side 2: Salome holding a dish with the head of saint John the Baptist; fashionable dress; necklace.
Foliated decoration.

Longhurst 1929: North French or Flemish, 1st half of the 16th century.
Williamson and Davies 2014: French or South Netherlandish (Bruges?), c. 1530-40.

Pierced vertically for suspension.
