Ivory

Attack on the Castle of Love; ladies pouring baskets of roses on the attackers from the battlements; couple on horseback (elopement); knights in armour on horseback; ladies on horseback brandishing stems of flowers or branches; dogs pursuing a stag and a hare.
Corner terminals (damaged): crouching monsters.

Back turned with a depression for (missing) mirror. Crosshatching inside the rim.

Object Condition
Missing: left part of the mirror case; corner terminals partly broken.
