Wing, left
Register 1: Last Supper; Christ feeding Judas across the table. Agony in the Garden (Christ at Gethsemane); apostles asleep.
Register 2: Annunciation; vase of lilies; dove of the Holy Spirit. Nativity and Annunciation to the Shepherds; swaddled child.
Wing, right
Register 1: Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist; rugged cross. Noli me Tangere (Christ appearing to saint Mary Magdalene).
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi; Entry into Jerusalem.
Beaded border.

Hinges
Two modern hinges.

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy (blue, in the background).

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
Two holes for suspension in the upper middle of each wing.
Hole in the upper left corner. Later hooks for hanging.

Comments
The silver lock may be original.

Provenance
Collection of Jacques-Amédée Lambert: his bequest to the Museum in 1850.
