Register 1: Nativity. Annunciation to the Shepherds.
Register 2: Annunciation; dove of the Holy Spirit. Visitation.
Wing, right
Register 1: Presentation in the Temple; maid holding a basket of doves brought as offerings; Christ standing on the altar between the Virgin and Simeon. Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist.
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi.

Attribution
Unknown

Hinges
Two modern hinges.
Traces of hinges also on the outer sides of the diptych.
A late 19th-century photograph shows that the diptych used to be mounted with the Adoration of the Magi as the left wing.

Reverse
Smooth and flat. Some scratches.

Collection of Alexandre Du Sommerard: acquired for the museum in 1843.
