Crucifixion, with spear or jet of blood pointing towards the Virgin's chest; Virgin and Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls; two angels with hands in prayer; rugged cross; dragons decorating the arch; arch resting on capitals in the shape of a crouching man and a crouching king.
Medallions containing quatrefoils in the spandrels with unidentified coats of arms (lion rampant). Pointed trefoil in the gable.

Ivory inserts on the right hand side, where hinges were previously.
Reverse
Flat and smooth. Longer edges slightly chamfered.
Object Condition
Vertical hairline cracks. Broken around the hinges (repaired). Repairs around the to the hinge cavities on the left, filled with ivory inserts.
Comments
Set within a modern black moulded wood-frame (not photographed). The frame dates from c. 1700, with the old inventory number on the back, 'Slg.-Nr.429'. This piece was originally paired with SK-0255-2 also in the Stadtmuseum in Münster.
