Attribution
Related to the Atelier of the Boxes (Mingorance 2013).
Reverse
Flat and smooth with some scratches. Incised 'IX' (?) on the back of the front panel. Recessed along the outer edges to be assembled with the rest of the casket.

Front panel
Missing: part of upper and right edges; lock.
End panel
Missing: most of the left edge; part of the background. Broken in two pieces and repaired with metal thread.
Several holes for missing mounts.
Provenance
In the Valencia de Don Juan collection at least by 1924 (although only the front part is mentioned by Koechlin).
