Missing: parts of border; lower part of the scene and lower parts of the pommel.
Evidence of numerous restorations (see Gaborit-Chopin 2003, fig. 119a, photograph taken in 1868, pre-restoration).
Scratches for glue.
4 holes, one with wooden peg still in.

Comments
On lower side, bears inscription 'XVI'.
