Register 1: Dispute of saint Catherine of Alexandria with fifty philosophers.
Register 2: Saint Catherine of Alexandria is tortured on a wheel with iron spikes; the wheel is destroyed by a thunderbolt from heaven; hand of God; Emperor Maxentius.
Wing, right
Register 1: Emperor Maxentius ordering the fifty philosophers to be burned alive.
Register 2: Saint Catherine of Alexandria is beheaded; Emperor Maxentius; the body of saint Catherine of Alexandria is carried to Mount Sinai by angels.
