Wing, left
Register 1: Annunciation; vase of lilies; standing Virgin holding a book; dove of the Holy Spirit.
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi.
Wing, right
Register 1: Nativity with Annunciation to the Shepherds.
Register 2: Crucifixion, with jet of blood striking the Virgin's chest; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls; sun and moon.

Koechlin 1924: France, beginning of the 2nd third of the 14th century.

Atelier of the Cracow casket (Gaborit-Chopin 2003)

Hinges
Two hinges.

Reverse
Wax seal with labels 'cat. no. 60', 'A 35'.

Object Condition
Ivory badly cracked. Silver hinges in poor condition, with early restoration.
Missing: part of the jet of blood in the Crucifixion scene (repaired).
Small modern chain, for hanging.
