Traces of polychromy: green (hair, ground).

Carved in the round (lower relief on the back).
Object Condition
This piece may originally have been covered in foliated decoration (one leaf remaining) which was shaved off to place it into a metal mount, now missing (Dalton 1909). Koechlin 1924 does not agree, as there are no holes or traces of fittings.
