Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy: blue (lining of the cloak), red (inside the veil).
Reverse
Flat and smooth. Central hole in the upper part of the piece.
Object Condition
Crown chipped (a piece has been glued back into place). The Virgin's right foot seems to have broken off and been glued back into place.
Provenance
In the collection of the Count de Valencia de Don Juan by 1892 (see Madrid 1892).
