Bust of a queen. Skeleton (Death); vermin; toad. Bust of a monk.
Twisted columns.
Under a baldachin with foliated decoration.

Vienna 1991: Germany (?), 1st quarter of the 16th century.

Carved in the round.

Provenance
Queen Anna of Bohemia and Hungary (b. 1503, d. 1547), wife of Emperor Ferdinand I. Recorded in inventories (in 1780, all ten agate beads were still extant; two are now missing).
