Standing Virgin and Child; Christ seated on left arm; Christ in long robe; Christ holding a fruit in his left hand; crown; brooch; blessing gesture.
Round base supported by two monsters.

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy and gilding, especially along the hem of the Virgin's cloak and in the hair.

Reverse
Carved in the round.

Object Condition
Missing: crown.
Restoration before 1882 (on index and middle finger, left hand of Christ; part of coat drapery and left foot of Virgin; on sides and underside of base, see report by Cascio & Levy 1996).Groove under base.
Modern silver crown (removed).
