			  The relief broke along a vertical axis in two pieces which have been put back together.
Missing: Christ's head and hands; upper part of the Virgin's head; parts of the Virgin's veil. 
The Virgin's robe is chipped to the left.
The Virgin's bust and head may have been partly recarved.
