Pietà (Lamentation of the Virgin over Christ's body); saint John the Evangelist; saint Mary Magdalene holding an ointment pot.
Crosshatched background. Roped border. Foliated scrolls; pine cone.

Molinier 1896: Spain, 16th century.
Châlons-en-Champagne 2007-2008: Northern France, early 16th century (c. 1510).
Malgouyres 2010: Northern France, early 16th century (c. 1520).

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the left side (repaired).

Reverse
Smooth and flat.

Object Condition
Central hole in the upper part of the panel.
Holes left by the missing hinges filled with ivory.

Collection of Baron Jean-Charles Davillier; bequest of J.-C. Davillier to the Museum in 1883.
