Reverse
Flat with vertical and diagonal scoring. Modern paper label, '3736'.

Object Condition
Missing: teeth and left part of the comb.
This fragment was cut through the thickness of the ivory in order to make two panels.

Comments
The original reverse of the present panel is 1894,0518.29 (Dalton 413), also in the British Museum.

Provenance
Collection of Dr Robert Forrer (b. 1866, d. 1947): bought from him by the British Museum in 1894.
