Traces of polychromy and gilding on the drapery and crowns.

Reverse
Reverse divided into 5 compartments, the central one being circular. This indicates that this panel originally was part of a set of writing tablets or the lid of a weights and scale box.

Object Condition
Four holes on both left and right edges.

Comments
The back of this piece is similar to another in the collection of the British Museum, 1890,0809.5 (Dalton 358).

Collection of William Maskell (b. 1814, d. 1890); British Museum, by purchase, 1856.
