Seated male figure with a staff (probably Joseph, fragment of a Nativity scene); bench.

Museum's opinion 2014 (after unpublished opinion of D. Gaborit-Chopin): late 13th-early 14th century.

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of gilding and polychromy: red (lips), gold (trace of decorative pattern around the neck and along the hem of Joseph's robe.

Reverse
Flat, with deep horizontal scoring.

Provenance
Found in 1980 in a domestic garbage dump north of the basilica.
