Seated Virgin and Child; Christ seated on the Virgin's left knee; Christ in long robe; cushion; bench decorated with arches and tracery.

Molinier 1890: beginning of the 14th century.
Koechlin 1924: France, end of 13th century or beginning of 14th century.

Polychromy - Gilding
Faint traces of polychromy.

Reverse
Carved in the round.

Object Condition
Cracks.
The bottom of the base is made of a different piece of ivory.
Hole is the top of the Virgin's head. Underside crosshatched and pierced with two holes.
