Hole and small recess at the centre of the panel where a handle once was attached, when the panel was converted into a pax. White label with the inscription '156'.
Object Condition
Hole under the central arch. Worn.
Comments
The trace of a handle now missing at the back indicates that this diptych wing was later used as a pax.
Provenance
Sold in London in 1906. Lázaro collection (from at least 1927).
