Flat and smooth. Very brown. Some scoring.

Object Condition
Missing: legs of fifth figure, head of sixth, most of seventh and left arm of third soldier (counting from left).
Very worn.

Comments
The ivory is dark brown in colour, possibly from being buried in the ground.

Provenance
Collection of Lady Charlotte Schreiber (b. 1812, d. 1895); donated to the British Museum in 1888.
