Register 1: Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls; angel with hands clasped and angel crying; rugged cross.
Register 2: Nativity and Annunciation to the Shepherds; Virgo lactans; musician shepherd holding bagpipes; angels holding scrolls; dog.
Wing, right
Register 1: Last Judgement with Resurrection of the Dead (Christ in Glory); souls rising from their tombs under an arch; souls including a king; angels holding Instruments of the Passion (nails; crown of thorns; spear; cross); angels blowing trumpets; kneeling Virgin; kneeling saint John the Evangelist (?).
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi.
Pointed trefoils. Border of dentils.

Amsterdam 1994: France, c. 1375-1400.

Two hinges.

Provenance
Collection of the Baron de Theïs (Alexandre-Etienne-Guillaume Theïs (b. 1765, d. 1842)) and Baronne de Theïs (from at least 1867). Purchased from Kunsthaus Lempertz, Cologne, in August 1955.
