Register 1: Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by the Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers. Noli me tangere (Christ appearing to saint Mary Magdalene); tree.
Register 2: Nativity; swaddled child. Adoration of the Magi.
Border of dentils.

Hinges
Two modern hinges.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Label with handwritten inscription: 'Cabinet Lambert. Instalation [sic] provisoire'.

Object Condition
Hole on each wing above the middle border, probably to secure a metal clasp now lost.

Collection of Jacques-Amédée Lambert: his bequest to the Museum in 1850.
