Traces of two missing hinges on the left side.
Polychromy - Gilding
Very few traces of the original partial gilding and polychromy: gold (hair; cross; architectural details), blue (lining of the Virgin's cloak), red (mouths; wounds; inside of Christ's loincloth; cloak of saint John; architectural details).
Reverse
Flat and smooth.
Object Condition
Central hole in the upper part of the panel.
Vertical crack in the lower part of the panel.
Provenance
Acquired by the museum in 1895 from the estate of Dekan Letzgus, Möhringen.
