Depth: 6mm

Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls.
Pointed trefoils in the spandrels.

Museum's opinion 2011: French (?), 1st half of 14th century.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the left side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Numerous labels: '15', 'Douane centrale Paris [...]', '5' in blue pencil, '7'.

Object Condition
The ivory surface has a heavy patina with darker brown blotches, possibly from burial in the ground or burning.Hole for suspension at the top.
