Width: 102mm
Depth: 4mm

Register 1: Entombment (Anointing of Christ's body), with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist; Resurrection; two angels kneeling on the tomb; three soldiers asleep; shields.
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi with Joseph; Virgin seated on the bed; Christ standing in the Virgin's lap; ox and ass.
Pointed trefoils.

Museum's opinion 2013: English school, mid 14th century.


Attribution
Unknown

Hinges
Traces of two hinges on the left side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
The edges seem to have been filed, as they are curved inwards rather than straight.
Central hole in the upper part of the panel.

Provenance
Collection of Lord St Levan. Allocated to the museum in 1982 in lieu of tax.
