Three Holy Women at the Tomb, with angel seated on the tomb and three soldiers asleep. Harrowing of Hell with Adam and Eve coming out of the Mouth of Hell; souls burning in Hell; demons.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Repairs visible.

Object Condition
Numerous later repairs including the upper left corner with the Holy Women and the wing of the angel; the staff and forearm of Christ; the left and right borders. At the back repairs are also visible to the two lower corners, but these do not seem to extend to the front of the piece.

Comments
This panel probably was originally one of the registers of a diptych.

Provenance
Given to the Museum by J. F. Willumsen in 1947.
