Register 1: kneeling archangel Gabriel (part of the Annunciation).
Register 2: unidentified tonsured saint holding a martyr's palm and book; unidentified tonsured saint holding a book and a cross (possibly saint Francis of Assisi).
Register 3: missing.
Centre panel
In the gable: God the Father blessing and holding an open book.
Register 1: seated Virgin and Child; nude child; saint Catherine of Alexandria; saint Mary Magdalene.
Register 2: Nativity; Visitation; King David playing the psaltery.
Register 3: Presentation in the Temple with Joseph; male servant holding a basket of doves brought as offerings; Christ among the Doctors.
Wing, right
Register 1: Virgin sitting at a pulpit; open book.
Register 2: unidentified tonsured saint holding a shining host; unidentified tonsured saint holding a martyr's palm and book.
Register 3: missing.
Pinnacles and elaborate tracery. Twisted columns.

This triptych is made of numerous ivory pieces.

Barker collection. Louis-Charles Timbal collection: acquired by the Musée du Louvre with part of his collection after his death in 1882.
