Flat with a band of diagonal scoring. Label with ink inscription: '3735'.
Object Condition
Missing: teeth and right side of the comb.
This fragment was cut through the thickness of the ivory in order to make two panels.
Comments
The original reverse of the present panel is certainly 1894,0518.30 (Dalton 414), also in the British Museum.
Provenance
Collection of Dr Robert Forrer (b. 1866, d. 1947): purchased from him by the museum in 1894.
