Saint John the Baptist holding the lamb of God (agnus dei); standing Virgin and Child; cruciform halo; saint Catherine of Alexandria with broken wheel and martyr's palm.
Pointed trefoils in the spandrels. Foliated border.

Migeon 1909: France, late 14th century.
Leeuwenberg 1969: France (?), last quarter of the 18th century to 1st half of the 19th century.
Gaborit-Chopin 2003 and Museum's opinion 2010: France, c. 1400 (?).

Object Condition
Left border partly broken.

Provenance
Collection of Alexandre Delaherche (in 1860, if we accept this piece is no. 933 in the Amiens catalogue: description and measurements correspond but no image is given). Collection of Charles Piet-Lataudrie (d. 1909), Paris. Sold at the Stora gallery, Paris, 1933. Gift of Mr and Mrs Henry de Nanteuil de La Norville to the Museum in 1941.
