Hinges
Traces of three hinges on the right side. Groove suggesting a rod connected the three hinges (charnière à tringle).

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy (several layers, minute traces of original polychromy). See report by Cascio and Levy, 1996.

Object Condition
Missing: flower from the vase in the Annunciation scene.
Evidence of hinges with a groove for a connecting rod.
Hole (modern) in the upper part.

Provenance
Sambon collection. Galerie Georges Petit, Paris, 25-28 May 1914, lot 302. Acquired by the Musée du Louvre in 1922, from escrow of M. Hirsch, as arrears on the Poirson bequest.
