Flat and smooth. Label with handwritten inscription: 'Musee de Lyon'.
Traces of red wax along the upper edge.
Object Condition
11 small holes around the edges of the panel, probably for attachment to a background.
Provenance
From the Cabinet de la Ville (the richest cabinet of Lyon before its collection was dispersed at the Revolution. Created in 1735, it had incorporated the collections of medals and antiquities of the College de la Trinité assembled by the Jesuits in the 17th century).
