Seated Virgin and Child; Christ sitting on the Virgin's left knee; Christ in long robe; Virgin holding a flower in her right hand; Christ holding a fruit in his left hand.

Traces of polychromy.

Object Condition
Ivory cracked, browned.
The group appears to have been recut at the base and at the Virgin's left elbow.
Traces of scratching for glue around the crown mount on the Virgin's head, possibly for a modern metal crown.Veil of the Virgin, shoulder and hair of Christ recut. Several chips.
Hole in the base; three holes in the body of the Virgin (modern). See unpublished report by A. Cascio and J. Levy, 1995.
