Seated Virgin and Child; two standing angels with hands in prayer; throne; crown.
Crosshatched background; tiled roof or brickwork; columns.


Koechlin Number: 0931

Inventaire 1892: French, late 15th century.
Koechlin 1924: French, end of the 15th century or beginning of the 16th century.
Palissy: French, last quarter of the 15th century.

Unknown

Reverse
Curved. Later ivory handle.

Object Condition
Two central holes in the upper part of the piece. One has caused the upper edge to break.
Central hole in the lower part of the piece, probably to secure the original handle.

Provenance
In the Treasury of the Cathedral by 1892.
