Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges.
Reverse
Smooth and flat. Left wing: longer edges slightly chamfered. Modern ink inscriptions: left wing, '96' and 'W.M' (for William Maskell); right wing, '143', and 'W.M'.
Object Condition
Holes for suspension (only visible from the back). Right wing: one hole in the cross where the arms meet, two holes in the background, one hole in the upper border.
Comments
Along the lower edge of the right wing, 'XXXII' has been roughly carved.
